Title: Lockhart Lower Fairing. FJ1100 for sale on ADV-Rider
Post by: Firehawk068 on April 03, 2020, 09:29:07 AM
I came across this AD while cruising through the ADV-Rider Forum.

Says it's located in New Jersey.

I have no affiliation with this person, or the sale. Just thought I would pass it on.

They are very rare.... price is a bit steep.

I had one on my 1200. I made my own forward mounting brackets.

Rare it might be Fred, but unpainted and sat at $425 with no mention of any mounts, I seriously doubt it will sell.

Unless there are more desperate people out there than me !!!!

Personally, I never liked these lower fairings  They look like an after thought and don't really blend with the lines of the rest of the bike.

And even worse, it covers up that beautiful motor.  I like FJs and FZ1s because you can see the engine.

It's a piece of mechanical art that shouldn't be hidden.

This looks like it is painted Silky White.

I bought a brand new one back in 1989. They come painted Silky White for the 85 and painted Stormy Red for the 84.

I agree $425.00 is a bit much
