My 90 has sat unused for 2 1/2 years. Installed new exhaust and fixed a headlight/instrument lighting issue. Aired up the tires and the front valve stem core sleeve blew out.... time to remove the tire and install a 90° valve stem.
Fred
Fred, unless you are fitting a new front tyre, there is no need to remove the tyre to fit a 90* valve. Leave the wheel on the bike and break the bead with a quick grip type clamp, you can then remove the old valve and insert the new valve. Pump the tyre up to required pressure and you are good to go.
