Yesterday I took a ride to pick up an 89 Fj for parts, mostly for the forks and wheels. Bike looks amazing no motor in it. I ended up also picking an INEX 1250 jug and head and a lower end along with a bunch of parts to rebuild this motor and now my plan is to put it in the 89 and have a second Fj hopefully all done in time for spring... I plan on posting this build along the way once I get started on it. I'll need a few other things to pick up, my plan is to make a very reliable and powerful motor. Has anyone Dynoed one of these INEX 1250s? I'm excited to put this beast together.
Also picked up a mint chin fairing from an 86 What's needed to mount that to my 85 as the tabs don't line up correctly and looks like it will be inches from the ground? Thanks
