I did not to a good enough job last winter when i rebuild the carburetors i assumed that the float height was okay without really checking them thoroughly . when i mounted the carbs back in April when installing the engine in the frame i noticed that gasoline leaked on the garagefloor .I then just knocked on the carb bowls to see if it just was a stuck float and the leak stopped and i assumed everything was fine but it seems the gasoline started to leak inti crankcase instead .so this is what i did.
1 discovered gasoline in oil the oil smelled gasoline but it is not so much that it can bee seen on the oil level.
2 pulled carbs and adjusted float height some was off and probably caused gasoline to leak into crankcase via cylinder while parked in a little forward tilt position
i used this method to set float heights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bxx5Iw1xoVw (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bxx5Iw1xoVw) i really like this method with rubberbands when you can see the gasoline poor out if it has wrong floatheight.
3 benchsynked carbs with drill bits
4 testruns got some backfiring / popping on both sides and vill have to adjust the mixture screws to more rich when done some more riding so the sparkplugs can be read.
Hopefully you dumped that oil and replaced with fresh oil. It doesn't take much thinner (ie gas) to ruin oil's viscosity.
Did you replace the float needle seat O rings?

I will replace the oil today ,but im not sure if it is really needed .I think it is very little gasoline in the oil since i cant see an increase in oil level i did a oilchange 7 days ago .Doesent the gasoline evaporate fast from the oil ?

Yes i replaced the o rings last winter they was included in the carburetor screw & O ringkit kit i bought from RPM http://rpmracingca.com/proddetail.asp?prod=carbkit (http://rpmracingca.com/proddetail.asp?prod=carbkit)very nice kit by the way!.
One thing i found was that one or two of the floats was rubbing the bowlgasket and therefore was a little stuck sometimes. The bowlgasket was bought on eBay and supposed to be reused many times and mad of rubber.I had to cut off a little on inside the gaskets to make sure the float does not rub /catch the gasket

Yes, once the temperature gets up to operating temps. However, the problem is getting it there with thinned out oil.
I did a test with oil and gasoline mixed. The gasoline at first float on top of the oil i tryed to mix it into oil but that did not work,But today when stayed over night the gasoline has mixed with the oil and diluted it completely. The oil with gasoline in it has gotten a lighter color and its impossible to See the oil is diluted.
I will definitely change the oil after this test i taught the gasoline would evaporate fast from oil but it seems it instead embedded into oil.
I made a pick of the carburetor bowl gasket problem that made the float stick and overflowing the bowl .
I see your finger is still healing from your encounter with the automatically closing car door.

Ha Ha that was fun.. its increadebel how slow the brain notised the pain .First i slammed the door then i saw that my finger was jammed in there then i heard the buzzing from the electric engine that pull the door in lock position It was then i felt the pain it was a little slow motion like in a crash .Today i tryed to drill a hole in the nail to drain out some blood as a found that it was possible on internet. I drilled a hole but no blood came out so i guess its too late
Mayby i start a new tread about that just kidding :bye:
