Hi could someone either measure or tell me how far the forks go thru the top yoke so that the bars can clamp onto them ..cheers

From my untrustworthy memory, about 32mm.

Thanks ,measured mine and they're 25mm so raised them thru the yokes to 30mm I'll see if that makes it handle better
