Title: Hello from Wroclaw in Poland
Post by: Mixed on May 10, 2019, 01:06:33 PM

Hi, I'm David. Yamaha fj is my third motorcycle. I've had it for one year. I live in Poland in Wroclaw. I train mtb / enduro and I like fishing. I have a goal to build an interesting FJ project in the naked / street version.
See you!

David,

Welcome to the FJ forum!       Lots of experience can be found here, if you have questions.

What bikes have you had before?

Awwwww Monkey, it's just not the same without one of your "special" fire starters.  :diablo:

Thank you for the nice reception. I had an aprilia RS 125 and Honda Hornet 600 before. I have a lot of questions, I hope that I will find all the answers here, because unfortunately the translation of the language sometimes changes its meaning. I am currently looking for how to unlock the engine to full power.

Welcome!

Is Wroclaw close to Mielec?

Where is your FJ from?  I "think" there were a couple different ways they were restricted depending on the market they were sold in.   There are some experts here on what to do to de-restrict it to full power - stock....and much more power non-stock!  Kookaloo!

Welcome to the forum  :hi:

I know one of the items that is used to restrict the power, are the rubber intake boots that connect the carbs to the head. The inside diameter has been reduced. Order a set of these as a step towards full power.

Wrocław is 600 km from Mielec.  :good2:

As for the connectors, I bought a new one, unfortunately for the blocked version, 30mm, not 36mm, I will have to buy it again, unless I can expand it somehow.  :dash2:
