Title: is the stock monoshocks' rebound adjustment clockwise for more?

and counter clockwise for less?

looks like the progressive rear shock is blown, nearly killed me going over small  bumps

zero rebound control and catapulted the 600 pound bike in the rear up in the air more than i can count

Clockwise is softer, counter-clockwise is firmer.

I don't remember if the factory shock adjusts for rebound damping, or if the adjustment just affects compression damping. Either way, its range is from "not enough" to "not nearly enough."

I had a sticky carb float that resulted in fuel overflowing the carbs and leaking down the drain tube. It washed down my Penske seal and left me with basically zero rebound damping. As a result, I could bounce up and down on it going down the interstate and it looked like a Merry-Go-Round. I got my 16-year-old (at the time) son into a fit of laughter doing that alongside him on the way to a Boone rally. I quoted back to him his comment about my similarly-afflicted RM125, "It handles like a Moon Bounce!"

i have it away from the adjuster and it appears when i twist the braided "speedo cable" it provides more range than if it is inserted into the adjuster, maybe a good way to crank it up...like some many has said toe disconnect the chain to crank up the preload which i am sooo light i don't think i need
