as per venturer, good enough?
This is a good general guide for torque based on thread size and grade. I assume the values are for dry torque.

A GYSM for the FJ (Genuine Yamaha Service Manual) seems like it would be a good investment for you.
Have you taken it for a run since the valve adjustment and carb sync?
mtc winging it. Manual says 56 ft lbs axle. 14 ft lbs pinch bolts. Mtc got it.
just to throw this in as its the next listing - rear axle 110 ft lbs

i took it out with a new to me front sport demon, still a slight ever so slight shimmy of my imagination, on a decel, maybe 16inch wheel?, runs fine, not better no worse, i can't really tell, but the peace of mind knowing i am not in the danger zone is pricless, thanks a million for helping me that day to adjust the valves, sync the carbs fix the ignitions switch, inspect thsi bike and finding the missing bolt...but idle inching up to 1200
maybe it was tighter and got more lift and duration on the cam, so maybe i loss power?

i did pinch it at 14 for good measure before i saw this so funny....
