I haven't taken out the stock air box yet, but plan on replacing it with pods. What size breather filter is required (ie what is the ID of the breather hose)? I see a lot of 9mm and 12mm online. Thanks.

Yea I initially responded to a relative thread I found, but decided to make a new thread anyway.
Interesting responses haha. I slid a micrometer in there and measured the OD of the hose as 16mm. So a standard 3/8" push-in type filter should work. I buy everything on the cheap as I have nine dog kids to take care of. I also sourced parts for a oil cooler upgrade and TDI (commonly known as CDI) replacement in the same way and I'll post a write up on those when I have the time. Thanks for the effort guys.
