Was out this morning heading to an appointment and saw a fair number of people pulled over on the interstate. One thing I noticed is some of the vehicles they (cops) were using.
Two white Dodge Chargers (marked)
Two black Dodge Chargers (unmarked)
One black Ford F-Series pickup (unmarked)
What got me was the pickup. Person had just been pulled over and the cop jumped out of the truck. He was wearing a jacket and tie with no badge. While he was walking to the car he flipped his badge out of the front pocket. By looking at him in the truck you'd never know he was a cop. He did have his gun belt and such on.
Others around the Portland area have said they've seen police mini-vans, Honda Accords, etc.. all unmarked.
Bastards are getting sneaky in filling their coffers.. :negative:
I saw a new Ford Mustang Cobra unmarked police car about 15 miles south of downtown Portland on the Interstate. He was slowly passing me on the right in the slow lane - I literally had to be within 10 - 15 feet to see that it was a cop with the lights hidden in the front grill and back window.
In LA they have black Chargers with blacked out tinted windows and 22 inch chromed rims that are unmarked cop cars. They look like every other young kid trying to look cool...you would never guess they were cops.
Look what they are doing around Toronto....sneaky buggers they are... :negative:

Add a white F350 dually and a one ton van to the list for Colorado. Heavy presence lately here, guess taxes aren't predatory enough. :dash2:
here in NC they like the blacked out chargers but i have seen mustangs, pickups, vans and even one honda accord!
you gotta pay if ya wanna kookaloo on public roads!
I got pulled over by a early 90's olds cutlass before...he wondered why I was running. I'm sorry, some crazy mofo flashing his high beams, on my ass, and you expect me to assume you're a cop! :ireful: I pulled over because I had enough, and I was about to get out and throw down when he pulled his badge out, and radioed that backup was no longer needed! :pardon: Thankfully he understood.
At least around here they have to be in full uniform if the vehicle isn't clearly marked.

In Sedona, AZ, beware of a late model silver GTO, complete with full red leather and every electronic cop device in the catalog!
AZ DPS has a Toyota Camary in every color available.
Just yesterday I saw the MN Highway Patrol giving chase in an Arrest-Me-Red Charger with white racing stripes on the rockers and twin stripes over the hood and roof. Dark tinted windows to hide the extra lighting, too. Sneaky buggers!
