Title: Free coffee worldwide on 4/15!!!
Post by: Navymech on April 13, 2010, 10:57:27 AM
One person can save trees. Together, we can save forests. That's why we'd like to encourage everyone to switch from paper cups to reusable travel mugs. Check out http://www.starbucks.com/TheBigPicture (http://www.starbucks.com/TheBigPicture)  to see the thousands of people taking the pledge to make a difference.

Join the movement. On April 15th, bring a mug to your local Starbucks and we'll give you a free brewed coffee*.

Bring in a mug any day, and get 10 cents off your beverage, anytime.

This event is taking place at locations all around the world. As your local barista for details.

*up to 20 fl. oz. while supplies last

:yahoo: You best believe I'll be by Starbucks a hundred times on Thursday!  :wacko1:

Hmmm..

I think I'll pour some used motor oil down a storm drain just to off set the people who are being "green" with this.

What else are you supposed to do with used motor oil?  It keeps my storm drain running smooth. :-)
Mobil 1 is preferred by all the little critters.

starbucks do coffee :morning1: is that what it is, but then again I never have been able come come to grips with the American taste in coffee, tho I did manage to find a little coffee shop in Boston who understood how to make it.

There was a another coffee shop just outside the office in Marina Del Ray in LA  who we were training but he always lapsed back into bad habits between trips, we used to send him a fax a week before we lobbed in asking to to practice making proper coffee  ( geez I used to like to look at all the drug dealers yachts parked there, how much do those bugga's earn from white powder  :hang1: )

I have been using Starbucks since day one....No clutch slipage, no heavy clunk from neutral to first when cold, super clean valves with zero carbon build up in cylinders, just fluid changes every 10,000 miles. I love this oil!!! I heard that a little is also good in the tank once in a while. Tastes great after a long hot ride. Save what is left of the dinosaurs......

Heh, heh, I saw a Prius on Hwy 111 with a bumper sticker on the back saying:

The Toyota Corporation: Just try and slow us down.

Speaking of good coffee: Klav, bringing your mocha pot to the WCR?  That coffee is outstanding!
If not, I'll find the one we bought in Gunnison.

I am indeed bringing it, along with a couple of Kilo's of the finest Papua New Guinea Highlands coffee.
Freshly picked, ground and roasted, straight from the source.
You like Hawaiian, you will burst when you get some of the P.N.G gear into you.
