I installed these grips on my new handle bars. They are unbelievable. The best take away is the integrated controls. No need to locate a place to mount an external control. The grips themselves are not too hard and they dampen vibrations well. I work night shift, so the morning ride home is still in the upper 30's and lower 40's.

Do they have an auto shut off like the Oxford grips?
I found a review for the grips. There is an auto shut off

Thanks Fred!
I used to scoff at the biker weenies who had heated grips...
Well you can call me a weenie all day, heated grips are the bomb, second only to my heated vest.
No bar end weights? :nea:
Looks good Fred! I like the fact that you don't have to find a place to hang a control box.

The grips do have open ends to allow for bar end weights. I have aftermarket clip-on handlebars that have hard plastic nubs that I have not attempted to remove.
Fred
Vibranator made an anti vibe bar end weight that fit a non threaded 7/8 handle bar. It used a compression type adjuster. Worked well, actually very well, on my Spiegler fat bar I had on my old FZR USD front end.
They are currently out of business, but I understand thru Randy that they will soon open back up.
Here's mine with the fancy Throttlemesiter ends...
I've had them since just before Christmas, and used them through the coldest part of the winter, and they are flawless.
Wow, what a beautiful, slick installation!
I'm going to have to get a set. I've never liked heated grips much because of the clumsy controller boxes, but this takes care of that dislike. Nicely done Fred & ZOA.
Randy, here I come.

... I have aftermarket clip-on handlebars..
ups, sorry, I did not noticed. BTW beautiful piece of alloy? you have there.
I had Saito hated grips before, twice repaired, but last time I cut off wiring and looking for replacement.
These are looking great, except LED indicator which will look weird on old bike like 1100, but....
No worries on the LED, Marty has just the solution. Very elegant and cost effective and can be near color matched.
