Title: I bought a 2 lb potato.
Post by: crash7863 on January 20, 2018, 06:16:53 PM
I literally went to the store and found a 2lb potato. The thing is gigantic. It must have been injected with plant steroids. I am going to consume it and have plant steroid powers. I felt it was necessary to share this.

The potato cannons here are too small a caliber for a 2 pounder. Time to upgrade.

Not so. There's no caliber to a potato cannon - you just chamfer the edge of the PVC barrel, place the projectile-candidate spud on the ground, and push the weapon down over the prospective round. Presto! Custom fit. Then seat\chamber the round with a stick from the kindling pile. Might even get multiple rounds out of a 2-pounder.

OTOH, if the spuds are small - like new potatoes or fingerlings - just load up a handful and you've got a Potato Shotgun. This also works with the trimmings from the loading procedure detailed above. No waste, and they're bio-degradeable. :good2:

I guess it also qualifies it as fast food.
