Wow you have a pretty good memory, after all them years
actually "Old Man" was a quote from Jeff Emig, not my words, but you may know he is the first racer to win a main event in 3 different decades, broke Mike Larocco's record for most years between wins and i think he now holds the record for the most Supercross starts. that would make him about 70 in Supercross years. Next year he will be racing guys that weren't born when he started racing pro.
and what does he do this week? he wins again, lapping all but 2 bikes, (including Ryan, this years championship winner)

It was easy to find the green bikes in the lites class, they were all up front
It was easy to find the green one in the big boy class too. On the top of the box. :praising:
the greenies sure looked to have a power advantage.... in both classes.
KOokaloo!
Again, I wonder how long the batteries lasts? As compared to gas power, It would only take a long enough race to beat it -seems to me.
Cool though.

Yep... Bubba did pretty good at Anaheim 1, considering he hasn't raced since Ana.2 last year.... He did a lot better than Reed, who raced some of the outdoor races. I think he'll be a contender if he stays healthy...
I agree, thats a big but though. If Bubba could ride at 90% he would spank them all, but.
Who is this Chad you talk of, is he a also ran. (popcorn)

Stewart rode a smart race. But i think villipoto had something for him (right up until he didnt)
Bubba's BAACCKKK...... :drinks: I liked how Emig(?) mentioned how he was "tip-toeing" thru the turns, then a couple laps later, Villapoto washed out the front end in the same turn Bubba did it in his heat race, giving Bubba the race....
The first proverb of racing is to finish first, first you must finish.
And I really think Bubba might just understand this now :scratch_one-s_head:
You can only hope so for his sake, but it's bad for every one else though. :bad:

I think James is going to have his hands full this year

Meh.... Get 'em out of the way during practice, don't have to worry about it during the race......
(popcorn)
I hope K-dub is okay, I haven't heard any news yet. I thought he was going to do it, until he didn't.
I thought James raced Chad clean giving him room in a few turns, I bet that won't happen again.
I don't know how the guy does it, but after this he was still able to pass half the field. I think he was seeing stars :wacko1:
James Stewart crash Daytona 2011 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oEKAIUroIU#)
....... Travis,.. just like in the NFL, when some of the players get hurt, and when they return from the injurys, they are not as good as they onces were....... is it time, for changing of the guard ?? or is he still good enough to stay on top?
I thought the medical people were going to say "You're done for the day" especially now the NFL is cracking down on head injuries, but to my surprise they helped him up pushed him toward the bike and watched him ride away.
That dazed and confused look is starting to be his norm, so they thought he was OK.
If the bike wouldn't have stopped in a different zip code, (doing the double w/o him) he would of finished top five. While riding dazed & confused
He is that fast, the question is, is he that good? to over come these issues

It's always a crapshoot, because you never know what the track layout is going to be until you walk in...
I've had great $10 seats, and crappy $40 ones.
One thing I've learned is not to get too low, or you'll never be able to see the whole track.
These are near the front of the upper deck, so should be a great view of everything.
Not as good as the couple of years I got to sit in the Yamaha suite, though...

Have fun Randy
Last time I was there we sat in the rider section, crappy seats but riders and family every where.
A buddy of mines kid tried to race a few years, then decided to run dads extra HD dealership. Smart boy.

SPOILER ALERT...
Definitely not the same as the RCA Dome (RIP)... looks like there aren't many bargain seats available. You get what you pay for. No bargain parking anymore, either... $10-20 seems the norm
My seats definitely had a commanding view of the track, but at an odd angle and far, far away. I could read the numberplates, but barely.
Better racing in the Lites than SX... Stewart looked good in his heat, but got a lousy start in the main, and Villipoto cruised. Reed even further on back.
I'll do better on seats next year. No more waiting for dealer comp that don't materialize. :dash2:

Starting to not look so good for Bubba, that crash, DNF is going to cause some problems for him..... Bummer, I hope he at least beats Reed.

James has taken a few hits this year, this one looked pretty bad.
It was a bizarre night, with Villapoto not even in the main, and somehow still holding on to the points lead.
