Hello! It's my first time posting. I found a thread concerning mounting a GSF rear wheel on a 1990 FJ. Unfortunately the photos are gone. Is there a way to recover those? If not, have any of you done this mod? Thoughts?

Thank you,

Welcome Greg, photos hosted off site are just that, under control of the owner/host. Plenty of GSXR rears have been done and well documented. Unless you already have all the parts...
Click on the PDF file in the following link. It gives all the information needed to install an early/mid '90's GSX-R rear wheel

Unfortunately I have all of the GSF parts. I'll try to go with what was written. Wish me luck.
If you run into issues then take pictures and be descriptive so we can help. Once done you load pictures so they can stay here on this site for the next one looking for this information.
Also add your location and bike info to your profile/signature. We have a history of helping local FJ owners...
Have a look around the FJzeemap. Not all members are active but you might have one or two in your area to connect with. https://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=724879#. (https://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=724879#.) If you choose to pin yourself then let me know so I can approve it.

Have you tried this fix Greg, but it will only work if the photos are still with Photobucket and not deleted from the account
Good Luck

Hi Greg
Looking at the GSF (Bandit) and the GSXR wheels, the proceedure will be exactly the same for fitting the the FJ.
I have doing some work on a friends Suzuki 94 RF900. It also uses the same wheel as the GSXR.
There have been a few of us that have done a write up on converting to the Suzuki wheel (myself included) It is very straight forward, as long as you have all of the matching bits. Wheel, Cush drive, spacers, brake caliper and caliper hanger.
