Title: Liquid electrical tape-Carbs
Post by: LA Mike on March 30, 2010, 02:22:53 PM
I have pin holes at the top of 2 of my rubber membranes and I found the posts about the ways to patch them.  One  is to mix 50/50 Naphtha and plastic dip/ liquid electrical tape  and  the other is straight dip w/ a Q-tip. The liquid electrical tape is pretty thick is the first option of mixing the better way to go???

just did mine and was ready to mix 50:50 but the plastidip seemed fluid enough (i had a spray can). I q tipped a few test coats on without apparent problem, so thats what I did...

I saw that it comes in a spray, did end up spraying them?, did it come out in a thick & hvy or a mist? Hanging them up and spraying them would make the job so easy.
