Title: Hello from DFW Texas!
Post by: z_clark on March 29, 2010, 04:27:00 PM
Hello!

I am the proud owner of a 92 FJ1200.  I have only had her for 2 months and 1K miles worth but am really loving it so far.  Also in the garage I have a EX250 (ninja) and a CB750 (nighthawk).  Anyone from DFW too?

Here is a few pics of her from the previous owner:

Plano here.  Which suburb of the Metro-mess are you in?

Who'd you buy the FJ from?  Was it local to DFW?

Nice ride man, looks a lot like mine, :good2:. Welcome to group and beware the slippery slope on mods. The FJ responds nicely to a variety of mods. Once you start you can't stop, right Frank?

Cheers,

Dan

I am from Grapevine.  Bought the bike from Scott, who also happens to live in Grapevine - I know him from a local msg board.

Thanks for the kind welcomes!

Scott Peebles?  I talked to him the other week.  I'm trying to buy up his spare FJ parts.  Nice FJ.  But I thought he had already done the YZF rear wheel upgrade.  I didn't see it in the pictures.

David,

Same "Scott".  He really took care good care of it.  No wheel upgrade on it now, maybe he changed it back.  I like the bike just the way it is, and plan on keeping it the same.  He sold it to me with a spare set of tires that are about 4 years old, but I plan to use them anyhow.

See y'all around!
