Title: Dog bones
Post by: yambutt on November 06, 2017, 05:28:38 PM
My new dog bones i had made up, they a little shorter than stock so to raise the rear, and much cheaper than soupy's and more accurate as they are the exact same length

Chromed as well? Look great, precision work. On my '93 I shortened them from 12.5cm eye to eye down to 11.5cm, raised the back nicely

There not chrome, their 304 stainless steel, I chose 304 since it has more strength than 316 and is less brittle, these are just polished is all, also they were drilled and cut by water jetting so no chips on them at all :

Soupy links are specifically for those who want to adjust their ride height.

Different strokes for different folks.  I've done what  you did, and I've run fully adjustable turnbuckle links.  Just depends on the application.  I'll say that I'm using turnbuckle types on my current ride.

This set is 118mm center eye to eye but having another set made 114mm and 1/8 inch fatter all the way around from 304L stainless steel that is from here in america, machinist does them for me for 20 bucks for the set then i just polish them out and they are cut from waterjetting so its very inexpensive to have another set made
