Title: Great Android / Phone holder!
Post by: timleslie1957 on October 23, 2017, 09:49:00 AM
I thought I would share this.  The phone holder is a gem!  Not only a super sweet USB 2A charging port that works great with my bike; it is mostly all metal construction, heavy and sturdy at a price of less than 13 bucks US!  RAM mimicker ball and sockets, arm attached to RAM ball PO left on triple tree.  This thing centered perfectly on the tree and is very nicely secure.  Link should work below if interested.  This thing really addresses my compulsion for frugality ... as does purchasing an awesome bike like my 89 FJ!   :good:

I received the exact same thing in the mail yesterday, cost about $19.00 here delivered. Quality is quite good for the price and the built in USB port is an added bonus. Haven't fitted it yet, will wait for the weekend to fit and wire up. Worked out the flat piece of rubber with the holes goes over the arms before putting the phone in then pull the corners up and hook over the corners of the phone as an added bit of security.

My son has been using this exact holder on his bike for a few months now and has mentioned a number times how well it works.

I would suggest glueing the rubber stoppers on before use though, he has had a two fall off. They sell replacements but better off not losing them in the first place now you know.

Nice find. Can't beat that price for the features.

They actually come with a couple of spares Noel, but thanks for the heads up.
