As a relative newbie I'm learning as I go.
My question is where exactly do I connect the vacuum hoses from a vacuum manometer on my carbs (1990 3cv)?
Thanks in anticipation.

Connect to the barbs between the carbs and the engine on the intake boots... You should have 3 of the barbs capped off and one with a hose going to the control box. Remove the caps and the hose, attach your vacuum gauges and get busy...

The carb manifolds on the inlet ducts for the motor have a vacc spigot sticking straight up. They should have a rubber cap on them - usually with a spring clamp.
This is a pic from my FJ600 which shows them . The 1200 is the same set up.

Great, thanks. All 4 are capped (may be different specs US/Europe) but they're obvious enough.

Perfect...couldn't be more clear. I was guessing that was them but needed to be sure. Delighted I don't need that wretched airbox out again!
