Well it's official I'm now homeless. As of yesterday. @.10am. The new owners kicked me out of my house. And now the builder said he's fallen behind on the 3 houses he's working on. Because it keeps raining every day. He won't be starting on my house until mid to late September. Instead of August. So now I'm living in a van down by the river.
Well that just sucks. You gonna to try and rent something for a while?
Van by a river sounds pretty good to me.. Hope very thing gets better for ya.
I actually bought a 35' 1985 Fleetwood South wind. That and 3 storage units. Had a 22'x44' attached garage. That wasn't big enough

If I was going to keep it I would get a collector plate for it. Then I would never have to renew it again in Wisconsin.

I hope the new house comes together quicker than what the contractor is estimating.
After the new house is complete, keep the motorhome and turn it into the FJ Rally Bus

Yah I was starting to feel sorry for Dan when he said he was living in a van down by the river. I pictured him living out of an old VW camper van---then I googled the Southwind. He's living in the lap of luxury with room for four party girls. Hope you get your place built before winter sets in.
Dave
It was luxury back in 85. I only paid $3800 for it. It's kinda rough. But It's clean and dry. I hope it's sooner than he said too. But my luck usually means later, not sooner. Will be an adventure living in the motorhome for 3?4?5? Months. The picture is in the back of the lot at work. Hoping to stay there the days I work. And at my lot on my days off.
