Hi Tim from Canada here. Just bought a 1988 FJ1200 and a 1992 FJ1200 with Abs as a package deal both Bikes run great and looking forward to having some fun with them. Hopefully I can still get some parts for them.
Thanks for the add!!!
Lots of help here and a ton of knowledge. RPM Racing has just about everything you need and are really great people. Welcome to the campfire and watch for the moditus bug it will surely bite. Big R
Welcome, you jumped in with 2 FJs a 3rd gen and a 4th gen. Ride the 88 first, then the 92. If the rubber mounts for engine are in good shape you should notice that the 92 is less buzzy.

Hi Tim from Canada here. ...
Hmmm... could you be more specific? Let's start with a time zone. :mocking:
Welcome. There are many members spread over Canada with some pockets of resistance here and there. If you check out the Worldwide FJ Owners map you may find some of us next door.

Post some pics when you can.
I am from Courtice Ontario.
Just down the road from me in Scarborough. I have a 92 ABS too. Coming up in April/May there has been a spring bike clinic hosted by a fellow member in the Niagara region over the last few years. Keep an eye out for a post re this. Good time to get together and tweak some maintenance items like balancing carbs, clutch work, rubber engine mounts, etc. before the season gets into full swing.
There has also been a late summer/early fall Camp'n'Ride/Rally north of Kingston. A very good time shredding brain cells and sportying around the back roads.
Looking forward to meeting up sometime this riding season. :good2:
Welcome to the Forum...as Paul said we have a good presence here in Ontario I live not far from you too...hope to see ya at a clinic and for a ride,I'm down and not riding till August...(upcoming shoulder surgery) but I'll be at spring clinic and hope to make Summer Camp-n-ride..
Are the 2 bikes you bought listed on Kijiji...the 92 with no fender...
Is that the blue and white bikes you are talking about if so yes, the blue bike needs a bit of work, the 2 air intake cowlings and the head light side cowling. I don't know what was done to this bike however it is scary fast. The whit bike is very nice I will post pictures.
Welcome aboard. I do believe a spring clinic will be planned soon. John
