Greetings FJ owners & motorcycle fans. Since today is the first day of my retirement :yahoo: and have all this time on my hands I thought I would finally join the group. Some of you I have riden with at the Renegade Rally the last 2 years and others I look forward to riding with at the West Coast Rally later this year. I have owned at least 1 motorcycle since the age of 15 and have dabbled in flat track and road racing including a couple of stins as the "monkey" on a side car. My current FJ has been a reliable commuter of 100 miles a day for the last 4 years. Before that it sat for 6 years after I went "deer hunting" with it, had a house fire and a couple of major surgeries.(tales for another time) A big shout out to RPM for helping me improve the performance of my motorcycle. I met Randy and Robert at their shop when I bought a rack and knew I hit the motherload for FJs. Thanks to all the members who posted upgrade information so the "1 guest" could use it.

Ron - do you know where any of those people old rigs are now? There's quite a few "soft" sidecar records at Bonneville ... would make a great retirement project!
Welcome!
