I have a 1990 fj1200 that I need to replace my fork seals on. Sadly my "book" is mostly useless. This is my status:
I have removed the forks from the bike. I have removed the top caps from the forks and pulled out the spring and drained the oil.
I have removed the dust cap and the clip that is holding the seal in place. Now what? I was thinking that the forks were like Goldwings and I could unscrew the tubes and remove them. Wrong.
Any help, guidance and suggestions are appreciated.
