I know that many of you have multiple FJ's. I caught the bug and bought a 3rd one tonight, like I needed that. I am a very happy guy tonight. It is an '88 (Canadian version) in the unique silver, red and white colour pattern. It is in great condition! It has been parked for over 5 years and has not been started since. I bought it from a fellow who simply was downsizing and did not have the time to resurrect it. As far as I can see, it needs VERY little. The plastics are beautiful, has a Corbin seat, stainless brake lines and even an intact belly pan. And for the price of $700 Canadian, who could resist? :good2:
Nice find. Congrats. Big R
Very nice score!!!
An excellent find. :good2: :good2:

Mark

1. Display piece.
2. Mad bikin' skilz.
3. Too much light beer in the fridge, had to hold it down.
Wow!
Awesome score. :good2:
Too good to be true but I am seeing it!! Extreme score and in the second best colors for the FJ! It looks like it was well loved.

If it any of those, then I am jealous.
A. because I don't have fridge to put a bike on (at least not one swmbo will let me use)
B. I don't have mad bikin' skilz
C. I don't drink light beer, so fridge wont float.
Tor-king - I am loving your man cave.

It was truly a great find. I certainly was not looking for another FJ when I discovered this one and only about 10kms from my house. This one does need some TLC but I am putting it in hibernation for awhile. My '86 has my undivided attention at the moment.

Love that color, and for approx 350 American dollars, why that's just a fantastic buy. Even if the motor was broken it would still be a buy. That's great.
Great buy on a a very rare, in the States, bike. That color combo is my favorite. Yes, Fjs are like potato chips, You can stop at one. I have a 89, stock, in the same livery, a very stock, low mileage 86 in red/ white, another 86 running project in various red/ white and etc body parts (soon to be yellow), another 86 that is 2018's project, another 86 titled frame with engine scheduled for 2019, and a untitled parts bike. I have most of the major parts to complete the bikes, plus a bunch of spares. I need to block Craigslist from my computer. I keep running across cheap FJ's. Enjoy your rides.
700 for that jewel is simply obscene. The FJ's are ridiculously under-priced. But good on ya for bringing this old girl in from the cold.
