I am a new owner of an 1987 FJ1200, I picked up or better said I will pick it up on Saturday :good2:
I have been riding bikes for longer that I would like to admit, from Honda ST90 to Harley. My current bikes are HD XR1200 and 1984 GPZ900R Ninja (under full restauration).
I have been looking at getting an FJ for a long time it was one on my to buy and ride list since I would say a very long time.
Past bike:
Honda ST90
Kawasaki 175
Honda trail 100
Kawasaki H1 triple
Suzuki GS750
Suzuki GS1000
Suzuki GS1100ES
Honda VF1000F
Suzuki Bandit 1200
Looking forward to some very fruitful exchange with the members.
Pierre
Welcome, where in the world are you?
Welcome Pierre
I know the FJ will not disappoint. You will get lots of "Fruitful" exchanges here. Our resident encyclopedias on all things FJ are FJ Monkey and Pat Conlon, but you will find a wealth of information from lots of us here. The FJ is a bike the responds well to mods and you will be hard pressed to find one in the list that hasn't had something done to it. Have fun while you are here and don't be shy.
Mark
Welcome to the forum :hi: Good luck on picking up your FJ and getting some huge smiles while riding it.

Yep, other call it Brew City, home of Miller :drinks:
Very nice town :hi: we also have the best football team :yahoo:
You're sure to love your FJ. That H-1 seems a bit out of character from the rest of your herd. What a rocket that was!
Welcome neighbor! Fj,s kick ass, and Wisconsin has some of the best riding in the country on and off road. Cheers! Charley
Welcome. I'm just north of ya. I don't know about the "some of the best in the country". But it's got some pretty good riding on and off. But I guess I'm kinda spoiled. Been to a lot of the best in the country, both on and off. Maybe we can all get together for a ride next year.
OK WI riders, we should get together at some point, have fuel will travel :good2: anyone of you have been to any of the Milwaukee neighborhoods bike night? :i_am_so_happy:
leaves are turning red, some good riding in front of us. :yahoo:

If I can get off work ... a friend is going for a ride on the 16th. To wildcat Mountain and back. Just a short fall color ride.
If you haven't been to highway 56 on the Keshena reservation. That's probably the best road In Wisconsin. For hauling ass. They even have turn offs for slower traffic to get out of the way.
