Any thought about doing an FJOwners store? Similar to the UK FJOC but much smaller!
Right now it seems we've got or are working on: carb kits, oil filter conversions, engine bars, fork braces, t-shirts, caps, ...
Add 2 - 5 % to help offset the costs of the websites, offer one-stop shopping for the "club" good deals, and a one-place for people with a good deal for the club to come to also.
Don't know how much work this would be though and how bad upkeep would be?
We've got one. You just call randy and he sends you everything you need :)

Thanks Andy. Plus, I am working on a FJ website as we speak as well. Hopefully by the end of the month.

Andy - exactly! And beats all the "discount" websites by a large margin too!
Sounds good Randy - I'll have another order coming your way soon (got to get the crank back first - I forgot to record the numbers before I sent it out :dash2:)
Yep, Randy!
About those hats and t shirts though. Do we have an "official" club logo? Or is it the logo and title at the top of the page?

Mike or Marsh will have to answer that one. Marsh is the owner of the site and Mike made the hats & shirts.

Normally I wouldn't say it, but uh..
I don't give a crap if he's cheaper than the other websites. For my FJ motor parts, I'm unlikely to go elsewhere for most anything. He gets me the item I need, he tells me why I need it (and the @#%$@#$ is right, damnit), and it works.
Anyone who's willing to yap on the phone for an hour while I pick his brain (on his dime, no less) and actually KNOWS these motors, instead of some parts desk drone who only speaks in part numbers and cost gets my vote as a good guy.
Amen.
..... To Randy, ...... I mention this in my PM to you,..... that I am comfortable working on any part of my FJ, except the motor.
.. Would it be practical to make a video on rebuilding a FJ motor?? ...... I would buy one for sure!!
Jeff
+1 for RPM
We are very lucky to have Randy on this forum. His experience, knowledge and help have been invaluable.
....and Jon Cain joined us this week! This is getting better and better...

Unfortunately, it would not be practical. I have been discussing with my technological enhanced child on trying to do a few that would include camshaft installation, carb sync, valve adjust, etc. Doing one for a complete rebuild would be a long one...

An "OFFICIAL" Club Logo!
Wow!
Official Club!
Fancy that, eh?
Much better than just a buncha blokes who like an old bike.
To make it "Official", guess there will hafta be rules and stuff, oh, elections for offices, an El Presidente and Secretary, lots and lots of "Officials" too, oooh, and who gets to be Road Captain?
Will there be badges?
Factions and intrigue lay in wait.

And what about a secret handshake?
there needs to be a banana incorporated into this somehow.

And hats, you're always forgetting the hats.
I thought we already had hats
