Title: What is the stock fuel tubing referred to as?
Post by: Tuneforkfreak on July 19, 2016, 05:43:24 PM
I should have thought of this before I placed my order with RPM in case they carried it. What is the stock fuel tubing called. I'd like to replace my lines while I have it all apart and I'm a big fan of the stock rubber fuel lines, and not so much a fan of the rubber braided line commonly found in auto parts stores. That braided stuff is fine on my lawn mower but on my bike I like the ease of removal with the stock stuff and would like to get a small roll somewhere. Any suggestions on a source would be very much appreciated.

If this is for your 90, the fuel line from the fuel to the fuel pump has been discontinued. It was a molded hose that had two different sizes for each end.

The woven braid hose from the pump to the carbs and the small hose from the petcock to the filter as still available from Yamaha.

OK I see now. When I Initially put this bike together the hose that's discontinued is the one that I have ( it has springs covering it).  The hose from the pump to the carbs is the one I did not have. I just used some fuel line I had from my jet skis but I figured I'd search for the original stuff as it seems a bit more flexible.
