Title: Goodbye Oz - Hello US of Armurrica
Post by: krusty on July 17, 2016, 11:28:21 PM
The next time I log in here in a day or two I will be, most likely, in CA.  Being a 10 day orgaised coach tour (of National Parks) there will little free time to organise meeting any FJers.  I will, however, be on FJ watch and if I spot any I'll post where and when.
Commencing 29/7 we do a 7 day Inside Passage cruise from Seattle returning via Vancouver,
Safe riding y'all.

Sorry, I don't have a map, just dates and places we'll be but no actual times. I'll see if I can put something together when we get there as I may have better information from our tour director.

You lucky bugger Krusty, sounds like a great trip. Have fun.

Might see you at the Manshed day and or the rally. Being in Lake Macquarie you are probably the best located member here to attend both. Not quite as exciting as the US of A but it will be on the FJ, a lot of fun and excellent company.

You live in one of my favourite parts of the country. I have family in Newcastle and the Hunter and visit there regularly, occasionally I get to ride while the family makes it own way up.

Make sure you post a "Bus Report" of your travels with photos, I love photos.

Not quite there yet. For the first time we have upgraded to business class so we're slumming it in the Qantas departure lounge where there is free everything, almost.  :yahoo: :yahoo:
I'll be keeping the manshed day in mind but not sure about the rally as it is usually close to the VJMC rally in Tamworth next year.
If you're in ever in the lakemac vicinity Noel PM me for a shed visit and maybe a ride, I have 2 fJs registered.
Will try and do pics.

If you go to Yosemite, you will be traveling through Oakdale either on your way in or out of the park. RPM is only a few blocks from the highway. Maybe you can coax the driver for a little detour.

I don't mind Dos Equis but that's Mexican anyway.
