come Friday, the poor wee fella's will be in tears, rock on the T20 :yahoo:
this is going to be the the most popular Kiwi symbol :flag_of_truce:
Aussies rule :dance2:
Springy,
What are you talking about? What's happening on Friday?
The only T20 I know about is the Suzuki 250cc twin 2-stroke with 6spd tranny, produced starting in 1967.
You're not by some chance talking about that stupid "baseball on valium" game, are you?
Of much more interest (to me, at least) is the olympics hockey and the start of the WSB season at Philip Island.
Cheers,
Arnie

 T20 is the short form of the game, takes about 3 1/2 hours, so its really over before it starts :morning1:
I much prefer the 5 day version, but kicking Kiwi butt is good any time :yahoo:

I'm Scottish so cricket is an alien game to me but I love the fact that in a Test Series a team can go to the other side of the world and play 5 matches each of up to 5 days over the period of a couple of months and a draw is an acceptable outcome.
Stuart
cricket like golf.....shouldnt be allowed.... its cruel and unusual....... rather stick my genitals in a bees nest...... but some say im strange
Cricket - who gives a shit - bunch of poofdahs in silly hats waving sticks and throwing their balls about. We now have what must be a record for great starts and fizzling finishes in cricket so bring it on Oz and give us another hiding. We're obviously not ashamed to lose at something. :flag_of_truce:.. unlike the Ozzies who resort to underarm bowling when they look like losing...NO! We haven't forgotten or forgiven that one yet!!! :bomb:
Why isn't there more motorcycle racing on TV in NZ? We've just had two weekends in a row of classic race meetings at Pukekohe and at the brand new Hampton Downs circuit (watch this space for Superbikes later) and the Paeroa Battle of the Streets, all iconic events and none on them rated a mention while the stupid Winter Olympics got heaps of coverage and only the foreigners here would be watching it.
Ned - hater of cricket and downhill/uphill/crosscountry skiing and skating and snowball throwing and anything else to do with snow. :wacko2:

 I watched that game, I suggest Trevor Chappell still get indigestion when he thinks about it.
:yahoo:
:negative:
maybe we need to be like our league players and sell drugs to make a better team... support the newcastle nights they sell good ecstasy...... apparently :ireful:
did you want a tissue springy? chuckles :cray: :empathy2:

Well maybe it's time to break out that pie, you know, the humble pie you get to eat when you are wrong!!! Wrong wrong wrong!!!!! :cray: Stop snivelling now and wipe your eyes. Yes I did see some of the highlights of the weekend's cricket with some outstanding shots played by Kiwis and some outstanding fielding. Don't whine about the play off that we won 'cos that's the rules.... :rofl2:
Ned - maybe I could be converted to watching a bit of cricket if it could always be that exciting.
 don't know about humble pie Ned but I may just sneak away and hide until the next time we beat you :yahoo:
yes it was an exciting finish there maybe something to this T20 format after all, did you see Michael Clarke's face when the last ball he thought was going to be a 4 and a match winner was cut off at the rope :gamer:
got to admit you never know whats going to happen in any Aust vs NZ game :dash2:
:yahoo: :yahoo: tomorrow is the first of the ODI's bring it on :gamer: :gamer:
now as an englishman i must heartily congratulate the kiwis and wish them the best in the upcoming matches (and, as always anyone playing

I am sooooo looking forward to some decent cricket :yahoo:, this summer against the West Indies and Pakistan has been very poor with little if any good knocks, tho Gayle did have one decent innings in Adelaide I think.
bring on the old enemy and our little mates over the ditch, hopefully some good games will keep us entertained :good2: :good2: :good2: :good2:
yup, i am looking forward to a good summer and some good matches who ever is playing, really enjoyed watching tendulka against s africa the
other day, especially as i watched it in iceland and it was damm cold at the time (although thats why i was there!) and it was nice watching sunny
climes, got them to switch it on in hotel bar and got some of the icelandics interested in it as well, dont think they normally watched cricket!!!

Australia has retained the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy with a six-wicket victory over New Zealand in the fourth match of the series at Eden Park in Auckland. :good2: :yahoo: :drinks:
oh dear, thats not the news i wanted to wake up too!, i suppose i must somewhat reluctantly congratulate the aussie team :dash2:,
hopefully the kiwis will do better next week in the first test
Funny thing is I don't really care who won! Now if it was rugby well that's a different matter...ABs vs OZ....super14... or even league...or anything else important in life, but cricket, ho-hum...you can keep the whatitsname trophy over there and let us get on with some serious sport now that winter's on the way. :blum1:

quickly enough!!!
:yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: right who's next
rats, new plan!, encourage aussie to score as many runs and take as many wickets as possible this summer, then hopefully by november
they will be worn out! and we can sail through to keep the ashes!! :good2:
