Title: Greetings from Poland
Post by: matjas on May 18, 2016, 03:18:00 PM
Been looking for an FJ1200 for over a year.
Finally got one really really cheap. Not the beauty queen but technically very sound - '90 with 145tkm on it. Restricted to 98HP in Germany. Ridden by a lady hence lowered badly on the dogbones.

Anyways... great, great bike!
Two GiVi panniers, new pads, new fluids and its still cheaper than a C3 Schuberth  :wacko2:

great place
best regards

Matjas,

remove the restrictor kit (if your license allows it) and enjoy the full potential. I think it should be plate restrictors either on the airbox or engine side on the carbs (never actually saw one installed so I have no idea what I'm talking about).  :sarcastic:

Here is an old thread that explains the restriction. http://www.fjowners.com/index.php?topic=13842.15 (http://www.fjowners.com/index.php?topic=13842.15)
If necessary, come down and I'll help you with it.

Matjas,

Welcome to the Forum.  And welcome to the new-to-you FJ.  Enjoy!

My father's family came from Poland, and my Grandfather was born there.  Hope to visit the old country one day.
