Hi. I have bourght a 92 FJ1200 parts bike.
I am thinking about getting it rideable again.
The main problem is
The fork tubes have pitting to the chrome and need replacing.
Can someone tell me if the 1984 to 1988 inner chrome fork tubes are the exactly the same as the
1990 to 1994 FJ1200.
I can get a S/H set of forks to suit a 84 to 88 pretty cheap off ebay and just swap the inners over.
It this possible.. thank

The diameter is the same, but the lengths are different.
There are three lengths.
84-90
91+
91+ ABS
I have access to them all, but I only stock the 91+;

Can i use an 84 to 88 inner in a 92 bottom outer.
