We used to have a "Karma" +/- option, some used it as a hate fest. However a Like button with no hate option should work well.
That is cool Alf, Thank you.

Great looking kid!
Something to be very proud of!

Enjoy that boy Alf, they grow up too fast...
Mark my words. Remember when you posted this picture, because next week he will be driving your car.
I remember the years I got corralled into coaching my 2 boys soccer teams ( football to you)
I knew nothing about soccer. Never played it. I grew up with football, basketball and baseball, never soccer.
None of the other dads volunteered to coach (they were in the same boat) AYSO's rules are firm. No coach, no team. I remember thinking, "Shit, I have to do this again? This is what, 4 or 5 years in a row? Jann (my wife) has to be the team mom again?" Boohoo
Looking back, I don't regret it one bit. All those Tuesday and Thursday evenings at practice and games on Saturday and Sunday, sure seemed tedious at the time, but resulted in precious memories.
My boys are all grown up now (46 & 44) and living far away, but I always run into their team mates.
I smile when I hear one of them shout out "Hey Coach...."
Alf Seems like yesterday we were looking at a newborn and his sister. Now he's walking around! They do grow up fast. With kids that cute you need a few more. :good2: Dave
Being with my little son Ragnar is like living with a Borg. Do you remember Picard fight trying to recover part of the Enterprise while the Borgs were progressively taking the control of the ship?. "Capitain, we have lost the weapons... capitain, we dont have energy at sublevel 17...capitan, we have lost deck 32..."
Well, he walk around taking things with his hands and throwing these away, opening lockers and throw out the content all around... and my wife and myself runing behind trying to restore the things and that Ragnar doesn´t hurt himself. Exausting! :shok: :shout:
God bless you Dave with docens of chidren!
....and after Picard's conversion into the Borg, remember his clue he gave the Enterprise?
SLEEP
......and good luck with that...
:rofl2:
Pat, with your testimony I've discover that the future could be horrible: I HATE SOCCER (and it is the national sport here in Spain. EVERYBODY LIKE SOCCER, EVERY BOY PLAY SOCCER!!!!)
:dash1:
You will be fine Alf. You will have no shortage of soccer coaches where you live.
Re: National sports; Knowing what I know now, about the damage done from recurring concussions, I would think twice about encouraging my boys to play American football. I've always known about MCL/ACL knee injuries, they were horrible in high school, but brain injuries are a different matter.
Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Track, Cross Country and (shudder) Soccer would be where it's at....IMHO
