Hi all,
I've been lurking lately, but had to jump into the new playground. Great job Marsh, thank you.
I cranked up the FJ the other day after 2 months of sitting cold. It sputtered to life pretty quickly, then I let it warm up to operating temps with a big fan cooling it. Love that Stabil.
No FJ riding here until it gets warmer and roads get clean. I did hop on the dirtbike for a short ride last week. I'm looking forward to spring!
Good to see you found the new site Dean. Spring is only 27 days off and I thinki we are all looking forward to better temps and clean roads... You comming to boone?
Eric M

I may be able to come for a few days. Kids are running my life at the moment and they've booked me for that weekend. I'm looking at being one of the early birds Tuesday through Thursday. Boone is a shorter ride than Tellico from here, I've been looking over maps to look at route options. Yeah, I want to be there.
Hey Dean good to see ya!

It's good to be here. Hopefully I'll see you at a rally this year. I'm clear for the July PA rally, hopefully some of Boone.

That would be great. I ride mostly with my 18 year-old son, he'd love it.

I have vacation time scheduled for July and September. My son is talking about a road trip in July, So he'll come first, not too much more time until he finishes college then who knows how often I'll see him.
G'day Dean,
Good to see you come over Mate!!! ;D

Nuuuuuthin...
I'm just sayin'. ;)
I got lucky...scrawny genes. At 52, I still can't grow a beard for shit, but I haven't gained a pound since 1976 (well, there was that 215-pound beer-weed-and-starch induced period in college...). Ten pounds of that was hair, but that problem seems to be moving from my the top of my head to my ears and nose.
Ever find a two-inch-long grey hair hanging from your earlobe? Lovely. How long has *that* been there? Good(OWWWWWW)bye.
Rossi
Hey Rossi when you find a way to divert all that follicular activity from your ears, nose, eyebrows and butt back to the top of your head where it belongs, please share it with us all.

My wife had a "diet" bike. It lived in the bedrrom for a while; I think she cranked the damn thing 3 times before using it as a clothes hanger. It's long gone or I could bring it down to a pretty stretch of trail and just sit there and pedal it for a while. :D

Yeah, I've got one of those, too...kinda. It's a "practice stand" for the unsprung Fuji mountain bike. It sits in the living room while the bike hangs in the garage. The stand, unfortunately, faces *away* from the TV and lacks a cupholder, hence it's lack of use. Too low for a clothes rack, other than a pair of socks.

Sound like some easy mods: hang a cup holder and turn it the other way... :) My wife's latest fitness trophy is some overpriced red swivel stool that is leaning against the bedroom wall. I think she used that about 3 times as well. Fitness is good.
I can't wait to give my FJ muscles some exercise. The first ride of the season I always feel a bit tentative, but that passes after about a half hour of curvy roads. I'm hoping to make Boone this spring so some seat time in preparation for the long ride is needed.
hey Dean!
;D
KOokaloo! :o :o :o :o :o

Can't move the stand. Fucks up the whole Feng Shui thing.
