I just purchased a 84 1100 a few months ago. I didn't do an intro cause i have been just looking around. Ill be trying to get some pics up soon, I paid $750 for it, It ran but needs some work. The tires were bald(not that I didn't plan on replacing those any way) Its been lade down on the right side so the front turn signal is broken. Also the fairing. It leaks oil bad so i disassemble all the plastic took off the tank and some hillbilly fool put a cork gasket on the original gasket with some silicone sealer(that took me two hours to clean out of the top end) I will also get those pics up soon. Finally the spring for the center stand is missing it was held up by a strap when i picked it up. Other than that I cant complain too much for a bike that runs for $750.
Welcome to forum and to owning the greatest bike(s) ever made. All the stuff you listed are minor repairs so it sounds like you got a great deal.
Get your self to one of the East or West coast rallies and meet some of the great people who make up this forum.
