I run a 180 rear in the Conti Motions, but a 180 in the Dunlop Q2 hit the chain (17" x 5.5" wheel). So it all depends on the actual width of that 180 Pirelli.
See? :good2:
Eric get's it... The value of the 17" rim conversions. Like getting the 2nd tire free.
You could spend $150 just for a 150/80-16 back tire: http://www.bikebandit.com/tires-tubes/motorcycle-tires/metzeler-lasertec-motorcycle-tire (http://www.bikebandit.com/tires-tubes/motorcycle-tires/metzeler-lasertec-motorcycle-tire)
I know the 180 Pirelli Angel GT has no clearance issues, but it is so hard trying to get actual widths from tyre shops on different brands before you buy.

This is what I have found, also.
I really like the Q2, but alas, the 170/60/17 Q2 that fits just right, has been discontinued by Dunlop.
And the new Q3 does not come in the 170/60/17 size.
I just bought two Q2 170s at a close out, only wish I could have bought more of them before they are gone.
I paid $177 for the pair, too!
