kiddies, how about coffee :yahoo:
I quite like the food and coffee at Jerrys at Kulnura, ( cut and paste this into Google earth 33°13'13.05"S,151°12'52.50"E ) and would like to put some names to faces and bikes.
How about a quick run on either the Saturday 20th Feb or Sunday 21st Feb morning, its pretty central to the Sydney and Newcastle people and there are some decent roads to get there and home.
anybody interested :gamer:
Bugger, I wish I was living in Sydney (well not exactly in Sydney) so I could join you Dave. Hope you have a good turn out and a good day. Hey were starting to get a good number of members Dave, so we can have our own annual FJ rally down here in Oz. I believe the first one should be in Tassie, what do you think.
Colin

:yahoo: beer and strippers I will definitely be there :dance2:
btw the cops have been hitting the old road pretty heavily last week and this week, the usual green unmarked car and a marked white one have been very active, the black unmarked one is still hanging around mooney mooney, past the slab and into west gosford.
On Sunday I will be heading up the old road past PITS and the mount white cafe to get to Jerry's sticking to the speed limit all the way :mocking:
Sounds like a plan. still havnt done much work on it so she surprises me with new " quirks" every ride so cruising is always best. just been explaining to my mate via a few videos on you tube the tendency for it to lose the front so softly you hardly notice and then your well wide but you got to love the grunt coming up out of corners...will see you there thanks for the heads up , last time i went through that way with my mate we picked up a blue marked cop car at berowra just past the lights we pulled into the truck rest at the top he went past and did a lapback round as we went out onto the f3 4 mins later. :blum2:
Yep the cops are quite active atm, we have lost two riders up that way in the last two weeks, one was hit by a car near west Gosford and the other failed to take a corner between Kulnura and Wollombi.
Thread hi-jack.
Speaking of police vehicles...... up here on the Sunshine Coast, the police have been quite abundant in unmarked cars of recent times.
Seems they are now using "hot" cars that they are confiscating off busted drivers...... I've recently seen them in a couple of V8 Commodore utes, and also a black Toyota Sportivo of some sort, so anyone coming thru this area.....keep your eyes open and your right wrist only "half-cocked".
Harvy
you guys are ok, one of the motorcycle cops on the GC is an avid FJ owner :gamer:
Had a pleasant time on Sunday, plenty of bikes out on the road, great to meet Neil and have a good chat and see his bike, a very tasty white and red 1TX. As the wife and I had to head home for the afternoon we only got in a short ride with Neil on the way back to the F3.
Then back home via the old road dodging our friends in blue, hahaha to the marked car backed into the bush near the Hawkesbury River, a kind Porsche driver alerted us to his presence so we were able to roll past just under the speed limit :morning1:
by the time we got home it was nudging 36 C, all in all a very nice ride..
Thanks Neil, great to meet you
likewise Dave, i had a nice ride and took your advice about 3rd gear 8 grand..... interesting stuff...... :good:  nice to meet you both, am jealous of your intercom system and your front forks, but im still not dedicated enough to crack out the autosol and steel wool.... chuckles. didnt see any boys in blue on the way home, ended up having a rest an doing a run into cessnock via sugarloaf mountain and then back out through blackbutt ,minmi. Any time you want to go for an explore or a ride just sing out always welcome, and if you ever get up this way drop in for a coffee.... i call them heart starters for a reason tho.... cheers
