Title: US to get MotoGP and WSB on TV
Post by: Arnie on February 18, 2016, 08:43:59 AM
This is the second mention on superbikeplanet.com of this coverage, quoted below:

"Recent suggestions that MotoGP and WSBK will be televised in America on the beIN network seem to be bolstered by current rumors that even Wayne Rainey's MotoAmerica national championship will be televised on beIN in 2016.

Asked for comment, MotoA's sources said that they are still working on their TV package details. "

Can anyone explain to me what the beIN network is and how to view?

I've been watching MotoGP for years. I usually get it on Fox-Sports 1 ?

Some say you can downlaod them off the internet using bittorrents usually within 24hrs of the race - even all the free practces and qualifying if you're into that....

For some areas that get zero coverage that's one of the only ways to get it - other than paying DORNA to stream it on a 12" laptop.

Shows a page called Sling TV, and says it doesn't work outside the USA though.

Thank you all for your replies.
Here in Australia we already get the MotoGP races live on free-to-air TV, but don't get the Moto1 or Moto2 or WSB races.
I actually wasn't asking for myself, but for friends in US who are not on this list.

And, for those who would like to see the races online after they've occurred, search on Dailymotion.com
The commentary may not be in English, but that just means it won't annoy you as much.
