Title: Kewl Vest
Post by: aviationfred on February 14, 2016, 02:25:06 PM
I know that most of the US and Europe are still very cold. :cray:

Rally season is not that far away :yahoo:

Anyone riding from Willits, CA to Ouray, CO this June.....I HIGHLY advise getting one of these and a mesh jacket, if you don't have one.

I am not sure how well these work on the East coast and the Gulf coast with the high humidity. For the Plains states and the Western states, I know they work extremely well with a mesh jacket.

This type of cooling vest makes long trips in 90*-100* temps tolerable. Last August, I did a 350 mile ride with the temps in the 102* range and the Kewl Vest along with a CamelBack made an absolutely miserable trip into a slightly uncomfortable trip.

This is a steal of a price..

I used one of these driving through California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada last summer (including a trip through Death Valley).

It is quite expensive, but won't get the rest of your clothes wet, like the cheaper ones
