Here hoping that all the Cali. FJer's are safe and on high ground. Watching the news and looks like you are getting hit pretty hard. :flag_of_truce:
Today has been better but SoCal is not engineered for this much water in this short of time span. The good side will be the much needed snow pack to ease up the drought. And seeing all the idiots that think they can drive through the flooding.
Safe& sound. Hiding in Las Vegas. Gotta love CES :dash1:
Yeah its raining, had a mild quake too. Still here.

The quake will help shake the water down the drain a little faster...
I don't get it :dash2:
Would it not have been prudent over the last 5 years of drought, to have some new resevoirs built and ready for El NiƱo to serve the farmers in the San Jouquin Valley?
I guess governor Moonbeam's bullet train was more important.
It must only be the LA basin that is flooding...maybe that is why it is called a basin...
We are good up here north of the Grapevine. The storms are rolling in every few days and the water is getting absorbed well and the snow pack is doing great.
Not out of the drought by any stretch, but the winter is still young.

It would help if DC didn't order them drained again...
Hell, I work there and I agree. Let's fill the basin with water. It'll solve a host of issues as a lake. Overpopulation , crowding, smog and drought, this is sounding better already!
Bring on the flood -- my Waverunners are ready --- it will be easy to get around the New Lake Los Angeles
no roads just beeline straight across the lake

Yamaha of course...
Hopefully all the wet weather is gone before us crazy Canucks come down to visit next month.
We could bring our Speedo's long. Go for a swim in the new lake.

Just you Cali guys don't be going around in your Lambos doing this shit. Is having that much money inversely proportional to how much brains he has? :wacko3:

Just when I thought I was safe from traffic cams.... You caught me...
It wasn't your fault Mark -- it was either the Lambo or the Veyron and I know you like the big V better -- you had to make the choice

When they talk about "THE BIG ONE" down there in California, I cant help but think all this water and erosion that could take place way underground can not be good for the State. Its crazy that an essential life giving element like water can also kill us and cause so much distruction on the surface. I feel sorry for all who have lost everything, now I will put my rose colored glasses back on.
