Just curious,in top gear at 4000 rpm what does your speedo indicate.I'm dead on at 65 mph,stock 86 fj1200,

Here's a set of tables built for the different gearing/tire options we have on our FJ's. Take a look:

You can see with your stock gearing and stock tire size, you are in the ballpark with your mph vs rpm.

Crap my 140 pound girlfriend on the back slowed me down 3 mph!!! She's gotta go.lmao

Do you think it was the weight, the aerodynamics, or all those punches to your kidneys causing the slowdown?  :-)
Is her name really, "Crap" ?
Even so, there are supposed to be 'other' benefits.

I might encourage you to check your indicated speed with a GPS.  Don't be surprised if your 10mph slower than the GPS speed.
