I visited the FJR Owners forum to see if I can get an explanation on what they (Yamaha) mean by the "D Air System" but no go.
Is it something to do with the suspension?
edit: I found it...its an air bag vest by Dainese: http://www.dainese.com/us_en/d-air/#time_7 (http://www.dainese.com/us_en/d-air/#time_7)
Time to start saving up now, so I can get a used one in '18.
That's the way to do it. :good2:
Car or Bike, whatever, let the original buyer take the depreciation hit.

So should it be called a "D Bag System" Pat?
I guess that would depend on the user
....only if it comes with a hose. :gamer:
I bet one of those fancy schmancy air bag vests would have saved me 5 broken ribs on my low side accident.....that really really hurt.
$27990 new in australia in March. Apparently we are getting th AE model. The USA getting the ES model with more options than us. Funny part is the dealers here know Bugger all about it

Ouch.....for quite a while brother.
It does sound like a nice bike that would perfect for those long rides following retirement. I have ridden the latest version of the Goldwing and it is very nice....not a bulky as one would think. Still I would prefer something a bit more "sporty" looking.
I was down in Valdosta, Georgia for the MAN Cup drag races about 3 weeks ago. For the 1 day I was able to be at the track I saw a guy drag racing a Kawasaki ZG14 Concours......just took the windshield off. High 10's if I remember correctly. :good:
Interesting, thanks for posting Pat. I could be in trouble.
