I put on a pair of CBR1000 replica mirrors $18.
+ Can see past my elbows.
+ Lightweight
-- May be too lightweight
-- 1/2" wider, but also 1/2" shorter
Highway test this weekend. (//)
You should really like the change. The non OEM versions can be a touch on the buzzy side at speed (blurry view), but at least you are able to see that something is behing you.

That's all I want. Other bikes were sneaking up on me, and luckily no Highway Patrol!
BTW, what does ATTGATT stand for?
I should save the answer for Pat ----- All the Gear All the Time

ATGATT stands for - All The Gear All The Time.
There is also SMIDSY - Sorry Mate I Didn't See You.
SWMBO - She Who Must Be Obeyed
Also:
SWMBI =she who must be ignored
I went with cbr250 mirrors.
They look a bit wide compared to the other cbr mirrors, but the rearward visibility is miles better than the stockers or the other cbr mirrors I was using.
I can actually see part of the tailpiece of my own bike.
Just eBay specials, 35 bucks. Seem pretty clear from want i can tell. Clear enough to not bother me anywhere....:)

You're single, right? :drinks:
No, but I am independent minded. :drinks:
I'll make sure and forward this to Sue...
I'll deny everything!!!
Deny all you want. She will know. She knows you better than you know yourself.
What a cool lady. A very funny gal.....Say hello for me.
ATGATT- I get it, and couldn't agree more. I just rode to the Progressive Motorcycle Show in Sacramento, and the CBR 1000 mirrors were quite an improvement, especially on the Interstate.
At the show, I sat on an FJR1300, and a Super Tenere, and even a SR400.
Sitting on a modern bike sure is nice, but the $$$ made my arse sore real fast.
The FJ still looked better than any of them.
