Title: Checked swingarm alignment
Post by: FJ1200W on September 19, 2015, 11:36:52 AM
I had concerns over the real wheel alignment on my motorcycle.
I used a straight board to measure from the rear wheel to the front, and when I finally had it as exact as I could, there was approximately .25mm of variance between the adjustment marks.
That is not a lot, as shown, but a tiny bit makes a huge difference on the other end - I'm not sure I could ever get it exactly right with those marks, close enough?
Now, to go for a ride and see if I can tell any difference.
Maybe I need one of those alignment tools :D

I am amazed at the difference - I've always had a little issue with left hand corners, but now, it's just perfect......
Such a tiny difference made a world of improvement.
