Title: Best sprocket ratio?
Post by: balky1 on August 14, 2015, 03:43:11 AM
Hi all!

What is the best sprocket size ratio, based on your experience? FJ 1985.
Mostly 2 up riding with additional luggage.

This has been covered a few times here already. I found the information below using Google by typing in the words (no quotation marks used) "sprockets fjowners.com" in its search field. I think the links should give you what you're looking for.

Thanks!

It is still morning here  :morning1: so I was a bit lazy to search the forum and Google.  :nyam1:

I've read these and still one question emerges. If I put 1-2 more teeth will the 110 link chain be long enough? I was thinking just for 18 front and leave the 41 for experiment.

No worries - you'll still be good with 110 links
