Title: Nice ride from Denver to Granby
Post by: Todd85fj on June 14, 2015, 07:07:17 PM
Headed to Granby yesterday.  I put my rain gear on prepared for the worst.  It was a bit chilly but I kept dry in the rain - the pass is 11,300 ft. It was wet so I took it easy.

The pass

At the top I rode towards the clouds in the pic.

After her wash

Is that Berthoud Pass?

You get a nice shot of the Continental Divide stretched out in front of you.

I bet it felt good to get out and ride.  :yahoo:

Yep.  Berthoud pass. A much more fun ride when dry tho.  On the way home today it was great!  Nice and dry.  I had a great ride home!

We did that one today. And after Grand Lake. We went to Steamboat Springs. Then took 131 south to 70 and back to golden.
Next off to Chadwick Missouri for some atving. Then to the Hub in the Ozarks. For more riding. Then home. After 34 days of atv and motorcycle riding. So far only 2800 miles on the fjs, about 300 on the ATVs, a little over 5000 on the truck.

Shit Dan,

We could've hooked up for a ride or something.

Yah Alan. That would have been great. Mostly hanging out with my sister and her family. And trying to ride. When it looked like it wasn't going to rain.
It sure was great hanging out at Al's bar and grill @ the rally.

Next time I'm in Denver hopefully it won't be raining every day and we can plan a ride.
Thanks for everything you, and everyone, did @ the rally. It was the best one yet.

How long are you in town for?

Let me know when you come back to Denver, and we'll get together.
It was great meeting you, and hosting everyone at AL's Bar & Grill

We sure aren't lacking for rain in this area...........Trying to sneak in a ride here and there is getting complicated. :negative:

We're on our way to Missouri right now. Don't know when I'll get back to visit my sister. Maybe next year's Central rally? But when I do I'll be sure to look you up.
