GasDude,
You mean like this one?

I don't have one, but if it comes from Randy, it has been tested for use with our bikes.

I have used 2 different other manufacturer's master cylinder's. Both with great success. Both are from 1998 Hondas. Coffin style VFR800 and urine cup style VTR1000.

The VTR1000 fluid reservoir was too far to the center. I replaced it with a universal reservoir that put it over the handle bar.

When you say the VTR cup was too far to the center- was it running into the fairing- or was it just annoying?  The superhawk is on my list of donor options (I'd like to match the brake and clutch cylinders if possible) because I think my brake master needs a rebuild.

It should be noted that Fred's Honda VTR and VFR m/c's above are axial, not radial m/c's.

The only radial m/c I recall that did not have a urine cup style reservoir was the French Beringer Aerotec series:

At over $600 ea, way out of my price range.

Yikes- yeah that's a bit spendy for my blood!

So far I'm looking at Superhawk, RC51, and 06-07 (ish) CBR1k for master cylinder donors.

The reservoir blocked the view of the fuel gauge. It was far enough to the middle that it did not interfere with the fairing.

The VTR1000 does have a hydraulic clutch and the master cylinder has the cup style reservoir.

I installed these on my 84 before I knew the trans was junk. Didn't really have a chance to test them, but I used a similar set before and had absolutely no issues. I switched to these because the reservoir mounts direct and needs no hose or bracket, resulting in a much cleaner look (and less prone to leaking).

Those would be fine for the clutch, but with a 17mm bore you might not like them for the brakes.  The lever effort will be higher  than the OEM master.  This doesn't mean they won't work just fine, but they will require you to squeeze harder for the same braking.
