gday everybody,  looking for a favour ,, im  looking at getting this, its a left hand  R1 mirror, postage in the states is free but they want a fortune to post to australia

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251518534687?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT#shpCntId (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251518534687?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT#shpCntId)

if anybody wants to take a risk im happy to re imburse anyone for all the costs   associated with getting the item delivered to your place
then you sending it on to my address in australia via  1st class mail, all other methods of postage is idiotically stupid priced. .

kind regards ken

Ken, what do you call "idiotically stupid priced"?

I have an account with a US forwarding house that I use for sellers that won't mail to Australia. The charge a small premium and the postage is very competitive.

Gday Noel, Im a member of a re mailer service in the states. The Austpost setup. A mate used it last year a few times and it came in about the same as Priority mail if you got the discount.
All i want is 1st class mail, its not trackable but having said that in a couple of hundred deliveries from the states ive never lost a package. In fact the last time i payed the extra $34 postage for tracking and a bit quicker postage time it took me exactly 31 days to receive an order from Mikes xs, It spent 11 days in florida, finally made it to sydney then over to montreal then to miami etc etc.  But i would use it if absolutely needed something and the seller wouldnt post to Australia.

Hey Krusty, I sure get you on the ebay postage calculator. The same mirror except its a repo one is around 20 bucks posted via 1st class by another seller.
I usually ask if sellers will post 1st class but many wont because of the buyer protection rules with Paypal.
