Has anyone tried this company? I'm curious about how close their colors are.

Sorry, should have added a link: http://cyclecolor.com/ID39.HTM (http://cyclecolor.com/ID39.HTM)

They offer a service where you can send any already painted part in and they'll match the color (or get as close as they can).

Which color(s) are you matching?  If I recall correctly some of the FJ colors are multi-step, such as the pearl on my 85 FJ. In those cases, a one-coat match may not work if you are blending. Not sure, but I'll check when I get home

I was looking to match the blue used on my 91 for a replacement scoop. I've since gone to Terrace Supply in Wheeling IL where they read the paint on the tail section and came up with a recipe. The scoop has been repaired and installed and it looks pretty damn good.
