Yesterday, chainus and I went for a short ride. 82 degrees in Salt Lake City. This was our first trip in the canyons of the year. Normally still a lot of snow up there. Had a good time. Speeds were very moderate, there was debris, sand and gravel on some of the corners. Also an accident just a little ways up the canyon, so the cops were out in force. Here are some of the pictures.

Good looking FJ-09. I see you got rid of the stupid looking license plate holder. That is the first thing I would get rid of too. How does it handle the canyons? Dave
We also saw a dead porcupine and some moose - a cow and her calf.
Great looking photos, glad you guys had a great ride. Kurt, how well does the wider windscreen work?
Fred
Awesome scenery!
I bet it's good to get up there in the fresh-air. :good:
Always nice to get out in the springtime up in the mountains, but you're right. There's an awful lot of sand and gravel on the roads.
Nice New-FJ too! :good2:
Thanks for the complements.
Dave, it handles well. Lots of lean angle and a shorter wheel base. Licence plate bracket is much better looking than stock but will not work with the hard bags. Stock bracket is still in tact, for when using the bags. Until I find a better answer.
Fred, windshield is better than stock. Looks better and is quieter.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the rallies.
